A key element that is essential in moving us forward in the healing process, in parenting, in self-improvement, and in so very many aspects of life, is curiosity.
Without it, we remain stuck in our narratives and cling to what's familiar, even when it doesn't have our best interest in mind. Our growth and learning become stagnant, because truth and a new way of seeing things is unfamiliar territory and can be unnerving to explore.
When you find yourself in resistance, curiosity can be a quick route to dissolve it.
Identify an area of life that feels stuck or a negative story you tell yourself often about your work, your love life, your financial situation, your parenting, your friendships, your health. What am I learning here, why does this bother me, what emotions does this bring up for me, how is this helping me to create what I want instead, what else might be true?
With curiosity on our side, it can move us back into understanding, acceptance, integration, alignment, and healing. :)
